FAQ

Yes, you will receive an email when the item has been picked up by the carrier and is on route. All the pertinent tracking information (when applicable) will be contained in that correspondance. (Some carriers provide information indicating the parcel has been delivered.) There are carriers that make pick ups from our warehouse everyday and others visit on a twice weekly basis. We will keep you posted.

We always endeavour to process orders in a timely and proficient manner. As long as the order has not left our warehouse changes can be made. Should you require a change of any time contact us immediately at info@paralleluniverseapparel.com

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA: PARALLEL UNIVERSE APPAREL will endeavour to ship our unique garments anywhere in the world. International deliveries outside of North America will be handled on an individual order-by-order basis. Final costs will depend on geographic location of the customer, expediency of delivery required, custom rates, duties and all applicable taxes. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all delivery systems are experiencing delays. Some are more significant than others. This is due to a variety of mitigating factors. With a greater proportion of the population working from home and adhering to isolation and quarantine protocols the demand for online shopping and shipping has increased dramatically. The delivery companies are also ensuring the well being of their respective workforce by implementing stringent safety measures. We will endeavour to do everything we can to ensure your order arrives in a timely fashion. Your patience and understanding during these extraordinary times is greatly appreciated.

If your parcel arrives in a damaged condition please try to take a photograph before opening (if possible).(This will assist with any future claims that have to be addressed with the carrier.) If the garment itself is defective in any way please contact us immediately at info@paralleluniverseapparel.com and we will make every attempt to rectify the problem. We stand behind the integrity of all our products.

At Parallel Universe Apparel our main concern is customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are personally unhappy with your purchase (sizing, style, etc.) you will have 14 days to return the item for full refund (less S&H). All items must have their original tags and be unworn and unwashed. (for hygienic reasons we cannot accept returns or exchanges that are dusty, dirty or marked)

We fully understand that there may be very unique circumstances regarding a return or exchange that is not covered in these policies. We encourage you to contact us directly at info@paralleluniverseapparel.com where we will be happy to address any additional inquiries you might have.

To initiate a return or exchange, email us at info@paralleluniverseapparel.com. Please include the order # and the email address used to place the order. If your order arrived damaged or flawed please include a photo of the defect. If we are issuing a refund please insure all returned garments are unworn and unwashed with all the original tags attached.

2) After your return or exchange has been approved by email please include in your return package a short note stating your order number, the details of your request, your shipping address and your email address.

4) If you are returning the item due to defect, damage, or error from our source we will instruct you the best way to return the item for full refund (including all shipping costs). The mode of transportation will vary on a "customer to customer" basis dependent on geographical location and parcel size.

4a) If you are returning the item due to personal reasons (wrong size, style, etc.) we suggest using Canada Post for domestic orders as this is generally the most economical mode of transportation. Packaging the item as small and lightweight as possible will also assist in reducing the costs. Tracking numbers are encouraged as we cannot be held responsible for lost packages.

5) When we receive your package, we will process your refund or exchange. You will receive a refund notification via email. Please allow a suitable length of time for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.

6) Shipping times and related fees fluctuate considerably and are dependent on parcel size, geographic location and mode of transport. Please take this into consideration.

Sizing is generally the main reason for customer dissatisfaction when it comes to ordering clothing on-line. To this point we have endeavoured to include as much information pertaining to the specifics of our apparel as possible. Please take note of all pertinent details. Due to a wide range of manufacturing specifications we have included size charts with each item. They vary from style to style. It is equally important to follow all care and handling guidelines once you receive your garments.

At Parallel Universe Apparel we endeavour to ensure our garments are responsibly sourced and manufactured in a socially conscious environment. Whenever possible we try to purchase products that are manufactured domestically, from companies renown for their ethical practices and superior craftsmanship. Currently the majority of garments are manufactured in Canada  including our entire line of SuperSoft men's t-shirts produced from silky smooth bamboo celebrated for its comfort and natural sustainability. Parallel Universe Apparel engages Canadian companies whenever possible for all aspects of our production needs. All facets of our fine detailing from the embroidery, silk screening, labelling, etc. is performed by local craftspeople.

When is impossible to source certain styles domestically we import our garments. The remaining bulk of our clothing is WRAP certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) and follow the Fair Labour association guidelines and codes of conduct.

As our Universe grows it is our mandate to engage not only those companies that follow these principles but to explore even broader eco-friendly and socially conscious production avenues.

We deal with a wide variety of manufacturers that have specific washing and care instructions for each style. Please adhere to these directives before wearing. Read handling and care labels. (In general, hot water and/or a hot dryer will shrink most natural fibres. Some polyesters will bead if they are subjected to excessive heat. Never iron any polyesters or silk screened artwork. When it comes to fine garments caution is your best friend. Many garments are not prewashed and could retain a slight residual of colour from the dying process. Try to wash new garments individually or with clothes of the same colour.)

All conceptual aspects of Parallel Universe Apparel is generated in house. The creator of Parallel Universe Apparel has over 20 years experience in the clothing industry. As a former co-owner and Head Designer for Ironhead Retail he was responsible for well over 750+ unique and innovative graphic designs. Everything we manufacture is limited edition. We will produce variations of popular images in a variety of different satellite divisions. "Where yesterday ends and tomorrow starts." It is our mandate to offer a perpetually evolving galaxy of genuine and innovative design under a wide variety of different company banners and formats. It's a style we created that is encapsulated by these two statements "The Past is The Present and The Future is Now". "Where yesterday ends and tomorrow starts". All our garments have whispers from the past and a classic vintage aesthetic. (Even the echoes of the Space Age and Atomic Age weave their way into our collections and branding.) And of course Now is all we have, all we will ever have, all we have ever had.

With a nod to the late, great, genius Lou Reed we call each and everyone of our products a Satellite of Love. Everything we produce is a vehicle of luminosity in some capacity. These satellites leave our Parallel Universe and go forth to be worn by the Blissfully Unorthodox, hopefully bringing a little much needed positivity to the world.

A cuffed hand with a pointing index finger (called  a manicle) have been used for centuries to indicate specific notations in text or more recently as a means of pointing the way to something that is significant. The hand design we created points within. A reminder that "Magic Comes From Within."

We do have a company SpokesSpirit. He is a happy little soul named Wispy©. Like Smokey the Bear, Woodsy the Owl and Elmer the Safety Elephant before him Wispy© will bestow little bits of sage advice to the world.
